Privacy Policy

milliWords is designed to be private by default. This page explains, in plain language, what information is (and is not) collected when you use the app.

No data collected

No personal data is collected

milliWords does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

In other words: there are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.

Data collection

milliWords does not collect any personal data.

  • No account registration
  • No analytics or usage tracking
  • No advertising or tracking SDKs
  • No collection of device identifiers for tracking
  • No sharing of data with third parties
  • No in-app purchases

Storage

Your scores, streaks, and settings are stored locally on your device. milliWords has no account system and does not upload this data to any developer-controlled server.

Daily puzzles are downloaded from a developer-operated server. These requests contain no personal data — only the date of the puzzle being fetched.

Game Center

The Daily challenge uses Apple's Game Center for its leaderboard. If you're signed into Game Center, your daily result (a percentage of par) is submitted to the shared leaderboard. This is handled entirely by Apple under your Apple ID — milliWords does not receive or store your Game Center identity or personal information. Game Center is optional; the game is fully playable without signing in.

Changes to this policy

If milliWords's privacy practices change, this page will be updated before (or at the time) any changes take effect.
